Pros
Great mission, feel like you are helping clients
Cons
Management. Some bizarre things happened while I was there. Staff getting multiple promotions that weren't deserved, that they weren't qualified for. A manager sent an inappropriate video to those they supervised: a boss was threatening to fire their employee for not doing what they asked. No one complained because we wanted to believe this person wouldn't be so bold and inappropriate with us, but looking back on how we were treated (someone also left in dramatic fashion that same week), this person was obviously sending a message to us. Management's approach to management is very quick to discipline. They want to issue you warnings right away, rather than talking things out first. This approach is very organization first, rather than people first. This is such a bad approach because it disregards the fact that people make up the organization. Case Managers are on the front lines working with clients, so to have this approach is very demoralizing.
