Extremely collaborative environment yet plenty of opportunity for individual contribution and growth. Extremely knowledgeable senior architecture and development team. Management and senior resources are 100% accessible, accountable, and transparent. Team atmosphere is fun yet very focused on productivity. Everybody's voice is encouraged, heard, and validated. Very good compensation package. Remote work.

As a smaller company there was difficulty weathering the latest economic downturn. Yet, layoffs were the very last option after all other possibilities had been exhausted. The CEO himself took a pay-cut long before there were any layoffs.

-Work-Life balance is excellent, management understands the importance of down time to avoid burn outs. -Training is always available. Salient will spare no expense to make you feel comfortable and confident in what your working on by purchasing courses if not available in-house. -Moral and Camaraderie are high. Teamwork as well as knowledge sharing is strongly encouraged and practiced at all times. Management isn't afraid to "get their hands a little dirty" and mentor up and coming developers. -Practice what we sell. Salient is a firm believer that if our product is good enough for our customers than it is good enough for us internally as well. -Compensation is excellent and well above standards in the BPM industry. -Always room for advancement. Hard work and dedication definitely pay off in the long run with the opportunity to move up in the ranks and does not go unnoticed by Upper Management.

The only true con that i can honestly think of is Health Care cost which is largely due to recent gov't regulations and no fault to the company them self.
