While a lot was promised initially, there was a lot of ambiguity on the role. Only positive experience in my role was understanding the NGO/FPO landscape.
Cons
1. There was a lack of clarity on the role. 2. Pivoting every few months without understanding the market 3. Some of the managers lack professionalism. HRs promise to look into harassment, but nothing good comes out of it. The last few months at Samunnati were the most traumatic work experience of my life. 4. The only people who are willing to take loans at the high rates that samunnati provides are the most riskiest clients. When defaults use to take place(inevitably), collection agents were sent to collect the dues , who at times behaved in a very unprofessional manner. The AMLA framework is more like a SHAM-la. 5. The Senior Managers somehow think that bullying juniors is the best way to get the most out of them. A lot of my peers have suffered working here. I hope the HR looks into training the Senior Managers to treat juniors with dignity and respect.
