Pros

The mission and the people - I got to work with amazing engineers, marketing, product, and customer happiness people who all supported an important mission of connecting the military with their loved ones.

Cons

The executive team don't really know what they are doing, and the CEO pretends everything is okay when it really is not. There were 4 layoffs in 9 months but not a single Sales role was eliminated even though most of them never closed a single contract.

Pros

- The team focuses on improving the military journey experience for both service members and their family and friends who support them. - The Sandboxx team is one of the best groups of people I've EVER worked with!

Cons

- Although remote work has its benefits, not seeing my teammates regularly is a drawback. However, even with the team being mostly remote workers, they are extremely responsive when called upon for support.

Pros

Working at Sandboxx has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every day, I get to be part of a mission that truly matters—supporting new military families and service members as they navigate one of the most emotional and transformative journeys of their lives. The impact we have is tangible, and you can see it in the thousands of heartfelt letters, messages, and stories we help deliver and amplify. What sets Sandboxx apart is its deep understanding of the military lifestyle. The entire team—from leadership to individual contributors—is committed to honoring that experience and building tools, content, and connections that ease the burden on families and boost morale for recruits and troops. It’s also an incredibly innovative and collaborative environment. Ideas are welcomed, creativity is encouraged, and you’re empowered to take ownership of your work. The leadership team is transparent, mission-focused, and genuinely cares about both the people we serve and the people who work here.

Cons

If you’re not passionate about the military community or purpose-driven work, this might not be the place for you. Sandboxx thrives on empathy, service, and innovation—it’s fast-paced and mission-first, which can be intense, but always fulfilling.
