Amazing workplace - Administrator Saunders Employee Review

Great company, great people, great environment

I did not feel their were any cons, I enjoyed me employment with this firm

Numerous offices throughout the Hamptons; East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Southampton. Will train you if you have little to no experience. They give you nice Christmas presents.

Management tries to act like they are giving you great benefits and a great work environment but they are really just hiding the fact that their benefits and pay is easily beaten by their competitors and that their work environment is hostile and toxic. Like some companies you have to pay into your health insurance but with Saunders you are not able to even have the option to pay for additional coverage for your dependents so if you are the one carrying the insurance for your family you have to turn to a private insurance company to cover your children or spouse. The hours are either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm, 1 weekend day is mandatory, and you get 10 days vacation and 5 sick/personal days. They are only closed for 2 public holidays Christmas Day and Thanksgiving. Taking vacation days are very competitive as you are not allowed to take any at the same time and even if you request these days far in advance they will take 2 months to respond to your request. If you have a family emergency they will give you a hard time about being there for your family and taking days or being flexible with your schedule even when there are children involved. Some of the agents at Saunders have no respect for boundaries and Management allows them to talk down to their employees and demand ridiculous things at all hours of the day such as meeting deadlines that they just sprung on you without efficient amount of time to fulfill the request. On your days off you still have to monitor your emails and respond within an appropriate time. The office space for staff is tight and crowded and everyone works on top of each other, while being closely watched by the owners.
