Pros

I value life and love the opportunities given to me at Save the Storks that help the nation see/value the lives growing in pregnant women. The leadership is excellent at looking at your skills and placing you in a position to add value to the organization.

Cons

Pro-life work is multi-layered/faceted. It is an important call on your life. I suggest praying through working in full-time ministry, nit because this ministry is hard- The work is! I have no complaints there are no cons to working to help women and glorify the Lord at the same time, in my opinion.

Pros

Fun work environment and great people, staff hangs out together outside of the office, different groups of people from the office have played on rec softball and volleyball leagues together in the evenings. Fun work trips. New leadership structure has been in place now for a couple months and I can really see positive changes arising from that. The whole team has been through a lot this past year, but despite the difficulties and challenges, we're getting stronger. Team devotions are one of the best parts of working here. We meet every morning and our President shares, and often other people in the organization have a chance to share too so you really get to know others hearts. I love the mission and the vision and how hard my coworkers work. It makes being at work fun and rewarding because I am challenged and inspired to work hard to see lives changed.

Cons

In the past, the organization has been slow to let go of toxic, disgruntled employees and get the right people in place. We are smaller today than we were a year ago, but this has honestly been one of the best things for the health of the organization.
