Pros

-free breakfast and lunch -short breakfast break -weekends off -favorable schedule (7am-3:30 pm)

Cons

-immature, petty, and disrespectful management. Very unprofessional. -$20 per hour pay for a supposedly high end catering company in NYC is a joke -highest level of favoritism that I’ve ever witnessed. The favorites barely work, and when they do, it’s less tedious tasks. They call out and come in late often yet have not been fired. Hardest workers fired over smallest things -Micromanagement to the extreme!! Will tell you “not to take it personal”, which is code for tolerating being belittled and watched all the time even while doing your job -will please clients at the expense of squeezing every ounce of energy out of their employees. -guess what.. employees aren’t allowed to have smoothies because, to quote the manager “making smoothies gets messy”. -extremely stingy with raises.. they’ll just beat around the bush. -dumps manager/supervisor tasks on employees such as inventory management -managers/supervisors constantly having “meetings”, sitting and chatting. Majority of their day is micromanaging you and sitting. -nit picky about the wrong things. I understand that aesthetics are important, but they go to extremes. I’ve seen employees yelled at for wearing white socks when it should be black. Cons could go further but I’d end up writing a book. Don’t work here. And if you do, make an exit plan immediately.
