Pros

Extremely receptive company where I really felt like my voice was heard. Company heavily focuses on technology innovation. Upper management was open to suggestions and gave me a clear track for career development. Highly diverse group of professionals with a "jack of all trades" culture. I loved that I was welcomed to sit in on any meetings from any department -- from channel recruiting to backend software development -- and add to my knowledge and openly ask questions. Flexible hours and management worked with my personal schedule and conflicts. Pet friendly!!

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but definitely not a work environment that's suitable for those that would prefer to not veer away from their clear set up job duties. Individuals that aggressively tackled new business and plugged themselves in to fix a problem were the ones that got promoted fastest. Benefits are nonexistent. Perks do not stack up to other competitors in this industry. No unlimited vacation, no work from home flexibility, no summer Fridays, etc. I would have preferred more team building exercises. Frequently had to pick up the slack for employees were not effectively performing.

Pros

The office atmosphere is very open. The executives work under the same roof, literally. The people are wonderful and the office setup is a great way to listen and observe what the managers do. This can be a beneficial thing if one potentially is brought on to work full-time from the internship program. ScaleLab is very new to the multi-channel network (MCN) world, however they have grown very fast and quick in a short amount of time. Their "No Term Contract" is what attracts most content creators to their door because many creators are unhappy with their current MCN's contract and are unable to get out of it. ScaleLab offers this great deal because it makes them accountable for the work and effort they put in to each client and their channels.

Cons

The internship program had it's ups and downs. Some days were monotonous and others were very helpful for me in the learning process of what a MCN actually does. The program is only six-weeks long which seems short but I believe is just right, in terms of the type of work they put most interns on.
