Acquired - Don't Waste Your Time - Consultant Sciforma Employee Review

Most or all work is remote, and management is very pro-remote workforce focused. However, management is committed to annual regional employee events for in-person interaction with coworkers.

No real downsides other than being remote all the time.

I have worked for Sciforma in Los Gatos during 6 months as an intern and it was a great experience. I was interviewed via Skype , the process was easy and took 2 weeks. The atmosphere is relax with a young team, and the work is effectively done : We are definitely working in the Sillicon Valley ! The work environment is also amazing : The office is very close from a park and a lake where we were used to having lunch together. We had many team-building's events and that was perfect to integrate new people and build a very nice and friendly spirit. Finally, the company is dynamic and growths every year , new people are hired and according to my experience, everyone is happy to work here. Career opportunities are also great : I was offered a job after my internship and will rejoin the team after the end of my studies.

No real cons. I think that the company has a lack of visibility among people but the team is working hard on that and I can tell you that Sciforma is worth to be known and considered. Again it is a great place to work in.
