Fun while it lasted, now defunct - Software Developer ScreenScape Employee Review

ScreenScape was a terrific place to work! If you are looking for an exciting career at a company with a vision, ScreenScape is the place to be. I really enjoyed my time here. There was always exciting things happening, and the office environment was the best of any place I have ever worked.

While ScreenScape is growing very quickly, they operate as a startup with a vision. This really does mean that if you are looking for a career at ScreenScape, you need to be ready to commit and put in the effort. They are very goal oriented, because they have a vision of where they want to be, and you need to be able to buy into that as an employee. This is not a con, but more of an FYI if you are considering working at ScreenScape: If you are just looking for a paycheck in exchange for the minimum amount of required work, you aren't going to be a good fit.

The ScreenScape Team is welcoming and supportive and really works on creating a sense of community among its employees. You can count on other team members to help solve problems or issues as they come up. Management is accessible and friendly and promotes a healthy work-life balance to its employees. There is a high level of camaraderie among staff which is facilitated by the company through get-togethers after hours for food or drinks. It's been refreshing to work for a company that has such a high level of morale and dedication.

I've been here for over 2 years and haven't got any major complaints... except for when they run out of my favorite type of coffee in the kitchen! I think I'll live... ;)
