Pros

Work from home but you're stuck on zoom with your camera on the entire work day so you might as well be in an office.... you're only saving yourself from a commute. This role is a glorified call center, so if you're really good at cold calling and know you can get off to a quick start in the first month then you will probably thrive here.

Cons

I always try to give people companies the benefit of the doubt, but I should've run after reading the reviews here. I thought, oh I'm sure I'll be fine I was a top performer at my last company, I work hard, and I'm always willing to learn. They seemed to have a quick and easy path to promotion and could help me start climbing the ladder a little quicker. I had recruiters and SDR's lie to me about the reality of the job when being recruited and asking questions. They force you to buy a $550 computer that you'll inevitably be sunk in the whole for when you don't last 2 years. The ramp-up and training metrics were changed mid-training and no one told us - we had to ask after hearing rumors. We were constantly being shifted around to different leaders/management in training, creating a chaotic environment where no one really got to know you/help train you. They say minimum 4 hours dialing on the phones but they really mean at least 6 hours. They say that if you put in the effort/trying to learn then you'll be fine but that's not the case, unless you're exceeding quota you're screwed. Doesn't matter how much extra time or effort you put in, if you don't preform your out. The whole time I was at the company they were firing people 24/7, typically in masses on Fridays. You live in constant fear of being fired here, to the point it was making me sick and lose sleep. It's also a game of who can clock in early/stay late M-Thur... Which can mess with the work/life balance they preach. They don't really train you at all, they just stick you on the phones and hope for the best. They wait until half way through week 3 of training to show you how they email, giving you only 1.5 weeks with that extra channel for prospecting/booking meetings, and then you don't even get lists until after training (assuming you're on the month training program which i heard changes all the time). The leads you're dialing into are wrong/incorrect 75% of the time, so you spend most of your time just scrubbing lists/data. Everyone in my training class was actively looking for other roles throughout training because we all had such a bad experience/felt sus about the company. It's a very white, sales bro culture and you must buy in 100% or you are screwed. If you've made it this far, please just go find a different company. You deserve better than what they'll give you here and I promise it's out there.

Pros

- can be a fun work environment with good peers that are other sdrs - learned how to talk on phone

Cons

- stresssful work environment - fires all of their sdrs or lays them off - terrible higher management above the SDR managers - terrible data and expects sdrs to figure it out - gives no help above upper management - ceo and upper management post “don’t lay off employees that don’t produce, the churn and burn doesn’t work” yet THEY CHURN AND BURN. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company. - constant stress about getting fired the next month - a lot of threats about getting fired
