Pros

- Hours are relatively flexible - Most people are nice

Cons

Don’t be confused by one of the negative reviews - calls are not dirty work, they’re actually the core of the business, and it is a real and necessary job. However, there’s not much else I can correct. Working at Seated is a frustrating and difficult experience. It’s a dishonest and miserable company. There’s a ton of finger-pointing, company morale is nonexistent, the pay is low, the work/life balance is awful, and there’s very little transparency. While business has grown exponentially, they continue to make cuts within the office. Upper management is childish, incredibly unprofessional, and they offer zero employee incentives. Nobody talks to each other, so when things inevitably go wrong, everyone blames everyone else and no one takes responsibility. They consciously take advantage of their employees and underpay them by an incredibly significant amount. And if you don’t establish yourself as essential very fast, they WILL fire you. And if you have made yourself out to be a hard worker, they will push as much work onto you as possible, without raising your pay, while simultaneously firing the people around you who can help. They will expect you to work on weekends but they won’t pay you overtime for it. They will cut corners financially wherever they can to save as much money as possible. They're lazy and will drag their feet to uphold the lowest, most basic employer contributions. Don’t be fooled - Seated does NOT care about its employees. I would absolutely never recommend working here. You will be miserable. You will be overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. Look literally anywhere else. You will be led by a bunch of "young professionals" funding their dreams with their family's money, taking vacations every weekend, while you get paid the lowest possible amount they can to keep you there.

Pros

I like some of the employees

Cons

If you have **zero sales experience**, this job might help you get “Account Executive” on your resume. If you actually know how sales works, proceed with caution. Here’s what my experience looked like: * Heavy micromanagement: Managers closely oversaw every step but often gave contradictory guidance. * Favoritism is obvious: Opportunities and leads are unevenly distributed, leaving some reps struggling to hit targets. * Ideas often go uncredited: Suggestions I made were implemented, but recognition didn’t follow. * Compensation complexity: Commission structures felt opaque and inconsistent at times. * High quotas, limited support: Goals were aggressive relative to resources provided. * Culture challenges: Some team dynamics and management styles made the environment stressful. * Limited advancement clarity: Career progression and development opportunities weren’t clearly defined. Overall, this role may be suitable if you’re new to sales and want experience, but for someone with prior sales experience, it can feel frustrating and limiting.
