Pros
Second Front has a great culture and great benefits. I genuinely enjoyed everyone I worked with and felt supported in the work I did. The benefits offered are fairly standard for a tech company (Health/dental/vision benefits, 3% 401K match). What really stands out to me is unlimited PTO that you are actually encouraged to take and 3 months paid maternity/paternity leave with 1 month to ramp back into work.
Cons
Insurance plans are expensive, even with company contributions. With the company being a DoD aligned start-up, culture can at times be intense and pressured. They will let people go who aren't pulling their weight and recently had a round of layoffs that shook the company.
