Pros

The product offering itself is so unique, there is so much to learn while managing the operational side of it. The management team is super supportive and cooperative, and growth is encouraged and rewarded. Very fast paced - just like how the ecommerce industry is! Flexible working hours - so you can really work when you feel the most productive. The pantry is ridiculously well stocked - you will never be hungry even if you tried!

Cons

Given the pace - some people may find it difficult to keep up.

Pros

- good pantry and lunch provided

Cons

Honestly, a lot. It's definitely a big case of blind leading the blind. A lot of passing the blame around, no one really knowing what they were doing, the only thing the leads do well is blow smoke/wayang. I was specifically in content creation in marketing and the leads there had no idea what they were doing, but when this issue would surface, they would just push the blame elsewhere. There was one good lead who knew what he was doing technically and visually, but he was a terrible person manager. We would have 1-to-1s and I would voice issues, both personal and in our team, of which would get ignored all the time. He didn't know how to lead at all. The product is great, every lead there is just riding the wave of the quality, good job the product team is good at what they do. Very inefficient and not a warm workplace. The pawns work like crazy whilst the leads reap the benefits. Without a doubt, some of the worst leads I've ever worked under.

Pros

Hardly any politics, employees have a shared understanding of the vision and direction. Work has global reach, and teams are lean and autonomous. Specialists and individual contributors are more valued, middle-management is kept to a minimum.

Cons

Fast paced, demanding culture, Requires a lot of discipline for self initiated projects for personal and organizational growth.
