Pros

Corporate HQ offered a very nice 'Thrift Savings Plan' that provided a higher rate of return interest than most bank institutions. Also, SFC offered premium new hire packages to employees filling specific positions with generous benefits (e.g., 3-6 week vacation to start without a probationary time-frame plus inclusion in lump sum bonus programs). Very flexible schedule and great gym.

Cons

Very political environment. SFC is known to aggressively recruit from their competitors, such as Advanced America. The level of professionalism among several (not all) high-level leaders was questionable, particularly the HR division of Corporate HQ. SFC has an extremely high turnover rate at the branch level as well as at the corporate level. While working in SFC Management, I observed numerous terminations based on here-say and less on known facts. Unfortunately, many of these terminations were the very employees that were diligently recruited from a competing firm. Understand the business of pay day loans when considering a position with SFC. The extremely high return and distributed bonuses can be hard to swallow when you consider the low income communities that the money is coming from.

Pros

Fair pay, good hours, great branch manager and territory supervisor.

Cons

Due to an injury I was unable to work for several months. I exhausted all personal leave and after a period of time was informed they could no longer hold my job.

Pros

Remote. IT service, excellent health care coverage and retirement plan.

Cons

Very bad management. Biased. Hidden discrimination to the point employees of certain background complained to HR until one of the managers had to be fired.
