Pros
The founders, leadership and team in Israel are very smart, and willing to share their knowledge. They make very nice off-site meetings. Product has potential.
Cons
The US marketing leadership is toxic. A lot of micro-managing and CYA culturally. The VP is insecure in his role, and this trickles down to the rest of the team. Ultimately, he brings a Big Enterprise mindset into planning marketing strategy for a startup, which has predictably poor returns.
If the sales team here brings in logos: it’s inspite of Marketing, rather than because of it. Especially important because the product is creative (and useful) - but not indispensable [given today’s market]. They’ve also lost 3/4 of their top AE’s over the last year, which is its own red flag.
