Pros
The company is constantly growing, expanding, just evolving! The opportunities to grow professionally are limitless. If I get out of the current department, I feel like my supervisor will hold me back as they have done to others in the dept.
Cons
My direct supervisor although they are highly intelligent on our products, they are not a leader, or team player. I don’t feel like they care about my opinions or ideas, it’s more like this is the way. Even if it’s not right or practical. This person is a black sheep in this company because everyone else seems to be people oriented, friendly, outgoing, and excited. It’s hard to be happy and exited in the mornings having to see them miserable and grumpy. Definitely not a leader, team player. A supervisor should be someone that wants to utilize their teams ideas, push them to be better, take advantage of everything that person can bring to the table. Dictating and talking down to your people because you haven’t invested the time to train them is completely unacceptable.
