Pros
Given the difficult working circumstances, there is a real camaraderie among staff- especially the longer serving colleagues who have outlived the (frankly huge) turnover. I worked here before and during the buyout of Selftrade by Equiniti. What I can say is that pre-transfer, the company was pretty good in supporting professional development, so was great for people starting out in Financial Services. I'm not sure if this is quite the same under Equiniti.
Cons
The management of the company was, certainly for the last 6 months of my employ, frankly diabolical. The new owners don't seem to be much better, and being swallowed by a huge corporation such as Equiniti meant the firm lost a certain 'maverick' feel; good and bad in equal parts. The performance bonus uses to be great, and it was open to all staff. However, Equiniti has a policy of only paying bonuses to managers (ridiculous!).
