Management tries really hard to get everyone on the same page to move forward as a company.

Some employees have worked at Semco for so long that they have become complacent and seem to be swimming up stream instead of coming up with new ideas so help the company as a whole.

The core group of operators has been there for a LONG time. They stick together and know what it takes to get products out the door. The assemblers and technicians really care about getting the job done right and are very knowledgeable.

Employees are in fear of losing their jobs. Mergers & Globalization is the biggest threat to this division. The employees that have been there for over 10 years have seen the direction that the company has gone (down). They have contributed their time and effort to make a difference but feel discouraged based on the reciprocated appreciation (salaries, resources, group leadership)
