A company working in an exciting field.

Management did not know how to build modern software or hardware, either in terms of technical process or product development. Customers were sold functionality that did not exist, or even whole products that didn't fit established strategy, with a subsequent panic. The company actively avoided some of the basic tenets of modern technical development (QA, design) to try cut costs and accommodate the expectations of investors, leading to broken functionality and disappointed customers. HR made basic mistakes in handling employee issues. The company's products are ubiquitous enough that the experience it created for users actively damaged my chances at finding subsequent employment when they recognised it on my CV.

Solidarity: Absolutely amazing people, very international and good support between the departments Communication: The management puts a great deal of effort into becoming more transparent, i.e. a weekly all hands meeting about the company's strategy and topics of the departments or q&a session with the COO Work conditions: The most of us have Mac, there are beanbags and couches, the office is in the middle of Berlin and is quite bright. Very centrally located, nice colleagues, lively startup atmosphere
