Pros

Customer service is top priority so speed to reply to customers and deal timelines are great. Quick responses. Local decision making. Good local people and management. Fair pay.

Cons

Formal work environment. No hybrid or remote work if you are a lender or lending assistant. Must be there 5 days per week. Need to improve benefits and cost sharing for medical. Also lack a profit sharing plan and stock options that most all other banks their size offer.

Pros

Pay is pretty good Good position if you like independence

Cons

No accountability within Loan Ops. Hours are wasted daily from employees sitting at each other’s desks and on personal phone calls. Queues get backed up because of this.
