- Great company culture. Core values expressed and used to drive the company. - Really smart co-workers, though of the practical variety rather than those who write complicated code just for the sake of being clever. I have a ton of respect for the work they produce. - Interesting and more modern tech stack than my previous jobs. - Engineering practices and tech enabling us to have a Continuous Deployment pipeline we have confidence in, both at the time of deployment and as our apps run with meaningful real-time monitoring. - Company organisation that emphasises servant leadership and a focus on the products rather than a corporate hierarchy. Quarterly planning meetings take input from everyone in the company which the department heads then figure out we have capacity to take on. - We know how to have fun. Quarterly offsites, game nights, holiday parties, the occasional movie night. Expert work from our event coordinator.
Cons
- Not enough engineers on some teams to do everything we want to do. - The SF office was crowded when I started and only getting worse, though we are slated to move into a new place 02-2016.
