      Pros

      They seemed fairly busy even in an economic down turn they had to work, the benefits were okay. I did meet some great people.

      Cons

      Micro managed, Toxic morale/ bullying from management and junior management, no set days off, bad health and safety - they were to cheap to supply winter gear, the didn't seem to value employees who worked hard and put in time with the company. Many of the long time employees adviced new hires to look else where. Not much chance for growth.

      Pros

      ShawCor has one of the best benefits programs going. Their matched contributions in the 401k are great and the continuation of the healthcare program at the level it is at, despite other companies dropping this is a credit to the business.

      Cons

      Their salaries are not quite in line with the industry, and while they promote within to fill roles, the remuneration is not always up to the mark.
