The company is employee owned and pays out bonus's on a quartlerly basis. The insurance costs to the employee's is competitive.
Cons
The company is based out of Flint Michigan. If you are in a satelite office don't count on any advancement oppurtunities unless you want to relocate. They provide very little training. One senior manager summed it up in a nut shell when I addressed the issue "we grew to big to fast and we know we have training issues." Sattelite location employees get very little support so if you do not have a seasoned Shively employee at your location you will be hard pressed to get answers to your questions. While there is a company bonus plan, per my team leader it is very subjective and no parameters or goals are established that he could provide to me. Hostile work environment when I was in Flint for 3 days of training the first week I started. Employees seemed stressed and overworked.
