Pros

Nice view & pretty office (Note: During the interview, you management will put on a show for you. You will think they have everything together, and are incredibly mature. Once you get in the door, your job description is not the same as discussed and the people who interviewed you are have the mentality of cruel teenage boys.)

Cons

Micromanagement, no room for growth in company, very poor commission structure, no training nor mentor-ship, big egos, no processes, no structure, way too much turn over, Bad culture: Drama, rumors, nastiest, insults (all from upper level management, which is just incredibly sad) They wear their ShoreGroup shirts on Wednesdays - no joke, an employee told me this. "Mean Girls" movie real life? or what?

Pros

I was allowed to work from my home office in NH for the entire 6 years I worked for the company. Corporate headquarters are in Manhattan. I only had to go there once.

Cons

None that I can think of!

Pros

Technically able to work remotely (although this Pro was granted subjectively to "certain people" and not across the board). A few good people to work with...at least the ones that weren't engineers.

Cons

Upper Mgmt. was awful. Didn't care at all about keeping people engaged and happy. It's a 24x7 job and can be very thankless. Mgmt. needs to do a better job to mitigate that. Many of the engineers have huge ego's and run around on power trips. Poor communication. But again, if you're an engineer (a good one), you don't have to communicate as it is often overlooked because they are delicate geniuses. What they don't realize, as smart as they are, is that communication is KEY to the success if any business.
