Unfortunately, the company’s recent decision to eliminate positions without any advance notice was disappointing and unexpected. A group of us were informed in a same-day meeting that our roles had ended immediately—no two-week notice or transition period. This sudden decision left many of us shocked, especially given our ongoing projects and commitment to improving performance.
There also seemed to be limited transparency from upper management about long-term plans or restructuring efforts, which made it difficult to anticipate or prepare for changes. While middle management and team-level collaboration were strong, communication from leadership could have been clearer and more considerate.
