Pros

-It's still a small startup so everyone knows each other and it's all hands on deck -Minimal red tape and lots of leeway to get things done -Supportive management and endless opportunities -Obligatory 'the people are the best part'......but it's actually true. Coming from a less than ideal former company with a lot of politics, Sigma feels like family.

Cons

It's still a small startup with a lot of irons in the fire going simultaneously. A lot of things are priorities and being able to communicate how you're investing your time on projects is up the individual. If you're looking for hand-holding and explicit tasks this may not be the environment you thrive in. But, if you're looking for a ton of autonomy with the reward owning your work and the outcomes, this is the place.

Thank you for your feedback! We completely agree that we are moving fast with a LOT going on so you are absolutely right that we are best suited to people looking for autonomy and room to learn and grow. Also - we couldn't agree more with your advice - our culture of collaboration across all functions is core to our growth right now so we are very focused in investing in ensuring that we maintain it. That's one the reasons that we are so keen to maintain an in-office presence - it's so much easier for our community to flourish when we are all together collaborating!
