Pros

Benefits and pay are little better than mediocre and one also gets profit sharing which is not terrible.

Cons

I would like to say there are just a few cons but this is not the case. The company considers salespeople to be the blood and soul of the company so everyone has to bend over and take anything they give you. Management is horrendous and if you are not part of the sales department / support, then you are nothing more than a subhuman. Lots of work and no recognition, talk about some kind of issue or give ideas to improve performance and incompetent management will harass you because you are no more than a complainer, trouble maker or have ideas that will make them look like the useless people they really are. Management practices retaliation at will and the company will do absolutely nothing to solve issues. If you have any kind of idea how the Mexican government works, this is the exact same thing but in a corporate environment. No wonder, Bar – S was bought by Sigma which is owned by Alfa both companies from Mexico. Employment turnover is high as they don’t care about employees. All opportunities are given to people who hang out with sales managers, so apply somewhere else.

Pros

Good benefits, some supportive colleagues.

Cons

Salaries are below average. If you're Hispanic, you may be very well doing less than the rest of the people with the same role. Started remote, pushed gradually to RTO more than the days role required because of manager's power trip. Be prepared many of your days in a month to be fully taken to ever lasting meetings in a room with lunch time included there. If you have social anxiety, you're doomed. Never heard of a company that can move you to a new team as if you were a chess piece. They will move you to open space for new people that are relatives to other employees. Nest of nepotism coming from the allies that have been growing their buddies' club. Year reviews are done with a group of people to rate you, without you being present nor knowing anything about what was said. Only until after your score has been decided, you can find out. This will be the result of what comes in your evaluation, not from your real results. Unfairly, managers don't get rated by reports. It's a roulette, you could land at a great team or be prepared for a very toxic experience. In my 15 years of experience never felt so unsafe in expressing myself than there. Many people won't reply to your messages on Teams, even after a few messages were exchanged already, I found this rude and unfortunately a very widespread practice across different teams. As long as you have a good standing with managers you'll survive. Overall it can turn really toxic. I'm even surprised Glassdoor's ratings are that high. Last but not least, don't trust anyone, just talk about the weather until you find someone nice to talk to.
