Pros

The only pro is that you get to work remote but this is only due to COVID.

Cons

The Mexico and US groups are not team oriented. Everyone does their own thing which creates chaos. The US Procurement team is ran by someone who thinks he knows it all. Management can be condescending most of the time. If there is a problem and you create a process or suggest a change, management ignores it. There is no appreciation. Women are treated as though they know nothing at the company. There is no room for advancement. There are very few women in upper management roles and a lack of true diversity. The company is definitely a boys club. Management will cut your bonuses because of their lack of proper planning. However, I'm sure they still received their huge bonuses. They will also give you 3% raises each year which isn't good by any standard. The salary is way below industry standard especially considering the amount of work that is required. Vacation time is horrible. Ten days for your 1st 2 years, then a total of 11 for your 3rd year.

Pros

Good benefits, some supportive colleagues.

Cons

Salaries are below average. If you're Hispanic, you may be very well doing less than the rest of the people with the same role. Started remote, pushed gradually to RTO more than the days role required because of manager's power trip. Be prepared many of your days in a month to be fully taken to ever lasting meetings in a room with lunch time included there. If you have social anxiety, you're doomed. Never heard of a company that can move you to a new team as if you were a chess piece. They will move you to open space for new people that are relatives to other employees. Nest of nepotism coming from the allies that have been growing their buddies' club. Year reviews are done with a group of people to rate you, without you being present nor knowing anything about what was said. Only until after your score has been decided, you can find out. This will be the result of what comes in your evaluation, not from your real results. Unfairly, managers don't get rated by reports. It's a roulette, you could land at a great team or be prepared for a very toxic experience. In my 15 years of experience never felt so unsafe in expressing myself than there. Many people won't reply to your messages on Teams, even after a few messages were exchanged already, I found this rude and unfortunately a very widespread practice across different teams. As long as you have a good standing with managers you'll survive. Overall it can turn really toxic. I'm even surprised Glassdoor's ratings are that high. Last but not least, don't trust anyone, just talk about the weather until you find someone nice to talk to.
