Pros

Trial Path is very exciting software that makes the lives of research coordinators much easier.

Cons

Horrible lack of communication from management. Unceremoniously cut loose all contract digitizers last week after being ignored for several weeks prior from management. Apparently the company was sold to Verily/Alphabet/Google back in August. Was promised last paycheck for work performed in September on October 15th and still we wait... Unethical and very frustrating for those of us that rely on this income to pay the bills during a global pandemic. Although, pay timing was always erratic, which makes me think that they were always unstable, money-wise. Without the digitizers they have an empty product. Great behavior from a healthcare company!

Pros

-Tremendous transparency from leadership. It's not every day your C-suite shares their business plan with you and makes you feel like you are a part of it. -Extremely motivated staff where everyone truly believes in what they are doing and is passionate about being a part of the team. Not just looking to clock in and out. -Leadership who make calculated and good business decisions. Hiring to meet the business needs: ahead of production needs, not over-extending staffing so lay-offs are inevitable during project lulls. (Like many other larger companies who will remain nameless) -Amazing benefits and very generous compensation plans. -The flexibility to work as an actual adult. No "butts in seats" 8-5 mentality. You're a professional, do your work, do it well, get to meetings on time, other than that you know what you're supposed to be doing. Get it done and don't tell me about why you need to leave for 2hrs to go to a Drs. appointment. Go. -Leadership and team members who respect and value what you bring to the table, as well as your ideas. Helps promote a very collaborative and open environment. -People who make you feel at home! Inter-office activities and fun whether it be lunches, after work trivia trips, happy hours, community service days etc. -Support from everyone, everywhere. Everyone wants to see you succeed, everyone supports your professional development, everyone wants to be the best and work with the best. Cannot say enough positive things about being a part of this team. Leadership just gets it. They make wise decisions about what to do with the company and when. They treat this as a long term family investment and that's what you are when you come here. Part of the family. I have never seen a C-suite so humble and so accessible to even the lowest ranking team member. Contrary to a lot of places these days hard work IS recognized and rewarded here. So if you're looking for a place that gets it and will treat you the way professionals should be treated look no further.

Cons

I dare say some growing pains but even they are nothing really to be discouraged about. You have so much support from the team and so much positive momentum around that any challenges here still beat a bad day anywhere else ten fold.
