If they have to call the Immigration Department 24/7 for you, they will do it. So for an expat, this is so welcoming. People from business are always there for you to explain some business/product of Sillo. The team-building events within Engineering are amazing. Benefits for learning & development (this is more like an obligation in all companies, but it is here because they are always stimulating you to learn something new) Work-life balance is amazing. People/HR care about you, if you are sick, ask for a sick day. If you are doing something urgent, ask for a day off. It will be okay. They want you to work feeling okay and in a good shape.
Cons
Being a startup, it's understandable for this salary, but the senior software engineer's salary is quite low regarding other tech companies' salary ranges around the Netherlands. However, the salary is considered enough to have a normal life around the country but just can't spend too much. Therefore, if you are looking for a company to retire from because of salary, this is not a company. If you are looking for a company that makes a real difference in people's lives and maybe have co-workers also as friends, this is the perfect company.
