Pros

SINE Digital is an exciting, fast-moving company that’s truly disrupting the digital marketing space. The team is made up of smart, passionate, and talented individuals who are always pushing to be better, and there’s a real sense of momentum and innovation. Yes, the company has seen major changes in recent months such as a restructuring, and shifting priorities which is challenging, but it’s also what fuels growth. Change is inevitable in a business that’s evolving. Having worked at several companies before SINE Digital, I can confidently say that while no leadership team is perfect, SINE’s leaders are engaged, sharp, and truly committed. They prioritise transparency, set high expectations, and push for real impact. It’s a fast-paced environment that isn’t for everyone, but personally, I’ve felt supported and rewarded.

Cons

That said, there’s room for improvement. More flexibility in working hours would be beneficial, as the strict adherence to core hours can feel limiting. The three-day in-office requirement can also be challenging to navigate at times, especially for those with long commutes. Additionally, while the work itself is rewarding, the benefits package could be more competitive.

Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that you've found SINE to be a dynamic place to work, and that you feel supported, challenged, and part of something forward-thinking. It's great to see our commitment to innovation, high standards, and transparency reflected in your experience. We also appreciate your honest feedback around flexibility and benefits. Since your review, we have launched flexi/core hours, as we recognise that greater flexibility is important in supporting work-life balance in a fast-paced environment. We’ve also introduced a Health Cash Plan to provide more accessible support for everyday health and wellbeing needs. We’re always open to hearing from our team about what can be improved. Your comments reinforce that we’re moving in the right direction, but also that there’s more to do, and we’re committed to doing it. Thank you again for your contribution and your thoughtful advice, especially around recognition and appreciation. We couldn’t agree more, and we’ll be keeping that front of mind as we move forward. Kind regards, Jo - People Director

Pros

Used to be a great working environment, with career opportunities and innovative and exciting approaches to digital marketing. Used to get benefits in the form of culture clubs and theatre tickets.

Cons

Benefits in the form of culture and Thursday night drinks quickly lose their value when everyone is overworked and underpaid. Even the most junior members of the team are expected to work beyond their hours and senior members are expected to do work beyond their hours, pay, and wellbeing. Career progression swiftly stopped when the company lost key clients due to spreading themselves too thin and there was no room for people to move up in salary or title. Heavy reliance on calling themselves 'diverse' and 'forward-thinking' with performative training and events when in reality they treated each employee terribly. The only culture that existed by the time I left was a toxic one. Management became a boys club with an out of touch approach to the wider company. Glad to have been able to get out.

Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience ended on such a negative note, particularly as you also referenced the more positive times earlier in your journey here. The sense of innovation, cultural perks, and growth opportunities are all things we’ve worked hard to offer and maintain. It’s disheartening to learn that this changed for you. We never want any member of our team to feel overworked or undervalued, and we take seriously the comments around compensation, wellbeing, and career progression. We work hard to create a great environment for our team, with the implementation of transparent salary bands (back in 2023) which are benchmarked externally on an annual basis so that your salary remains competitive, and support you in your career journeys through bi-annual reviews. We also are proud of our regular training sessions, and the many opportunities for the team to come together socially. In terms of support & wellbeing, as an agency, there will always be busy peaks. However, we endeavour to support our employees wherever possible and we are pleased to provide access to a Health Cash Plan, EAP, 3pm finishes on Fridays and offer flexi/core hours. We also offer enhanced compassionate and sick leave, and endeavour to always provide support and flexibility for anyone who needs it. We know there’s always more work to do, and we’re continuously looking at how we can improve. Therefore, I would love the opportunity to discuss your experience and listen to what you have to say further, so please do not hesitate to contact me via email. Best regards, Jo - People Director
