Pros
- Singular is a lean team that is run efficiently and solves for a big vision. Unlike many other startups, it didn't do any layoffs in the past year and continued hiring. Most startups I've been to are somewhat unmanaged and do not plan ahead. With Singular you know the company is set to operate long term - Individuals working at Singular are super strong. There's a reason we were able to compete with companies like Branch and Appsflyer - our product was better, support was better, CS was way better. As an individual you'll enjoy your time here and can have plenty of opportunities to grow, to do things on your own (mentality is very much supportive of independence), and can even explore switching to a new role. - True startup experience. If you're here to "rest and vest", this is not for you. It will show very quickly, and people are expected to be productive. But if you're good, and have a healthy mindset for solving startup challenges, you'll love it here. People are measured for outcomes, not for hours. People are excited by the vision.
Cons
- Remote work (US). If you want an office, that was only available in the Israeli site. All US folks were remote first - Marketing tech is competitive, and our competitors in the space were heavily funded. This meant we had to be a lot more frugal and efficient in order to win or even stay in the game.
