Pros

Good industry with kind people that work hard.

Cons

No direction or growth plan. VP of Operations is small thinker and ego-centric, very limited in ability. They don't have any real senior leadership to speak of. Have recently laid off staff and can't retain the stronger performing team members that they had working there. Poor hiring practices from District Managers slows any chance of growing or improving sales.

Pros

Still trying to figure that out.

Cons

The company presents itself as a growing, well-managed organization, but the reality was very different. Branch management was rarely present in the office, often claiming to be “working from home,” which left employees without leadership or support when issues arose. The Inside Sales Representative frequently created negative customer experiences due to a poor attitude and an expectation that everyone should possess the same knowledge he had accumulated over 30 years in the industry. Rather than helping customers and employees learn, interactions often came across as dismissive and condescending. Communication and service were consistently poor. There was constant infighting between branches and corporate leadership, with managers regularly pointing fingers at one another instead of taking ownership and solving problems. The culture felt more focused on blame, politics, and backstabbing than teamwork and accountability. The company also closed seven branches at the beginning of the year, which raised serious concerns about stability and long-term direction. While leadership does an excellent job of painting a positive picture of the organization, much of it felt like smoke and mirrors. What was promised and what employees actually experienced were often two very different things.
