Pros

This is a large company with some amount of reputation to their name, a big brand, akin to McDonald’s being easy to find every few blocks but the med spa version. If you can get in here, you’ll get paid decently well and have a brand with some recognition to tag yourself to.

Cons

A company that’s been bought out and expanded faster than it could set down a strong foundation for at every step. Beware medical professionals, be ready to bring your own clientele or certify yourself as your own A-list social media marketer to meet the demands of a company unwilling to invest in you on anything other than a superficial level.

Pros

In certain areas of the country, the brand carries a strong reputation and feels prestigious to work for. The clinics are beautiful and there are great trainings available for injectors looking to improve their skills. Being associated with a nationally recognized aesthetic brand can open doors and help build credibility in your career.

Cons

This company expects injectors to function not only as medical professionals, but also as full time influencers and marketers. There is constant pressure to post on social media, grow your Instagram presence, and bring in your own clientele. If you are not naturally skilled at marketing yourself online, management can make you feel inadequate rather than supported and they expect you pay for your own advertising if your patient flow is slow, despite being a W2 employee. Despite the heavy emphasis placed on provider driven growth, there appears to be NO investment in local marketing to help build patient flow. The internal culture can also feel extremely inconsistent. Certain employees seem protected regardless of behavior. Toxic workplace dynamics and favoritism are completely overlooked, which creates an unhealthy work environment and contributes to high turnover. The inconsistent standards, favoritism, and lack of accountability contributed heavily to a toxic work culture. Compensation transparency is another issue. Pay for the same role can vary significantly between providers, and employees often have to advocate aggressively for fair compensation rather than being compensated consistently based on experience. Nothing is far or equal within the company when it comes to pay.
