Pros

good perks, weekly pizza credit

Cons

The same cycle repeat over and over again, frequent leadership change, every few months there’s a new GTM strategy or initiative, and then it changes again when it doesn’t work, and they left. At this point people are just lost, priorities and goal shift so often, hard to know what actually matters anymore. decision maker doesn’t seem to bother to learn about the market, customers, or even the product. A lot of decisions feel disconnected from reality. mid management just blindly follow whatever the top push out, they can’t even explain and justify. The product is one of the most expensive pos systems out there, but also the most unstable one. Instead of fixing that, the focus is constantly on new processes, internal changes, layoff that don’t solve the core issues. It just recently shift toward a very high-pressure, almost “car dealership” style sales approach to push sales through (we are a software company by the way) without really addressing the product, support, pricing, or GTM strategy. When things go wrong, blame often gets passed between teams instead of looking at the bigger picture. Multiple rounds of layoffs over the years across teams, and morale is low. People are tired and many are just trying to keep up and lost at some point. They let people go for no reason sometimes, they already posting “future territory manager” when we already have managers in place for those markets, Very scary!

Pros

Amazing mission the company has. Trying to support small local Pizzerias is truly remarkable.

Cons

Tech is extremely behind. Can’t compete with Toast, owthe tech is very far behind. POS seems to never connect the right way. Box delivery was a disaster for local shops, Once Slice gets over that curve it’s truly can be a monster of a company but they can’t keep putting out bad product because you make your sales people look like a joke and making the company look horrible . The micromanaging is crazy. Upper management needs to listen to the team and make adjustments if not this mission will fail and a competitor will come in and buy Slice out. How do you sell a product that doesn’t work that well…… and you don’t believe in
