Pros

Slipstream has many talented people who are dedicated to accelerating climate solutions for everyone. They care about their roles and each other. The company also offers decent salaries and benefits.

Cons

Leadership is the primary weakness at Slipstream. There is a persistent lack of clear direction and accountability at the executive level. Priorities shift frequently without strategy or adequate communication, leaving teams to absorb the fallout. Decisions are often made top-down with little understanding of operational realities, resulting in staff burnout and disengagement. Recent layoffs and other departures underscore the absence of strategic, compassionate leadership. While Slipstream frequently emphasizes company values and employee feedback, those messages are not consistently reflected in executive actions. Concerns and suggestions shared with the CEO rarely lead to meaningful change, resulting in a culture of low trust. Strong individual contributors do their best to compensate, but the current executive team ultimately limits growth, morale, and retention.

Pros

Very kind and considerate coworkers.

Cons

Slipstream markets itself as mission-driven, but the reality feels very different once you're inside. The focus appears to be more on revenue to support high executive billing rates than on meaningfully helping the people Slipstream claims to serve. Leadership seems disconnected from day-to-day operations and the concerns of staff, and turnover has been consistently high during my time here. Many talented people have left, which says a lot. If you're seeking a place genuinely dedicated to climate equity, I would encourage you to look carefully and consider other options.
