- used to be a beautiful, bootstrapped company. Profitable by itself, small team, creative and data driven and a super fun place to work - now overrun by new management where everyone is forced to overhaul on strategy, planning. Everyone is stuck on planning and estimating on things that probably won’t be touched - used to be a bottom up company, now not so much. You don’t have a lot of say in what you work on and get to build - everyone is out to get a promotion, thus there’s a focus on individuality rather than overall success of the company. Very toxic and passive aggressive work environment due to this (people wanting to outshine others). If you’re not into being outwardly competitive with your peers, avoid this place - and of course, mass layoffs out of the blue - zero diversify awareness. Zero.
