Pros

Diverse Team Hands On Learning

Cons

No SOPs whatsoever, from operations with vendors to working with clients everything is a word of mouth advice that consistently changes and shifts according to CEO and Managers mood swings. High-turnover rate, a team of 10 that changes 5 employees every 3 months. Inexperienced and young operations team that only started working for the company for 3 months and cannot think or work on it’s own and is afraid to do anything on their own and need consistent approval. CEO calls every single day for months during weekends and late nights and expects instant reply at 9 and 10 and 11PM. Both managers do not work efficiently and effectively, clash with CEO constantly during meetings and do not communicate well between each other. Company sells a fake product that is 90% concept and in theory while only 10% of product is available and can be delivered by the company. Team members in operations are not well trained, they are inexperienced and young and lack basic communication skills as well as professionalism.

Pros

SmartBite offers an excellent environment for those who want to grow quickly and gain hands-on experience. The company moves at a dynamic, startup pace, which creates opportunities to learn across multiple areas and take real ownership of projects. Career progression is relatively fast, and those who show initiative are often given the chance to lead and make meaningful contributions.

Cons

The fast-paced environment can sometimes become challenging, especially during high-pressure periods. At times, the workload and expectations may feel overwhelming, as responsibilities across operations, client management, and vendor coordination can fall on a limited number of people.
