Pros

SmartDeploy is a fun, fast-paced environment to work. Although it’s well established, it runs similar to a startup – smaller team, but growing. Since it is growing, many of the positions are new, giving new employees room to explore different opportunities and establish themselves in the organization. You get to interact and work with many different departments across the company. Management trusts the employees and does not micromanage. It’s a great place to work if you take pride in your work, are self-motivated, and enjoy working closely with a team of like-minded individuals.

Cons

If you are not a self-starter or good at observing and finding things to do, and wait for others to tell you what to do, you will not be very successful on this team.

Pros

SmartDeploy an opportunity to work with an intelligent, fun, and hard-working group of people to creatively solve problems and bring a segment-leading product to market. The transparency and straightforward working style of the management and group is unique and keeps the daily work atmosphere positive and productive. There is a focus on work-life balance and plenty of freedom to work on the business. I appreciate the core values and integrity of the business to consistently do the right thing for customers and other team members. I like being part of an independent software company for the flexibility and agility it allows to pursue the targets we are most interested in. To be successful here, you need initiative and the ability to solve problems independently as well as with the team which I appreciate.

Cons

If you are a person that needs quite a bit of structure, direction, and oversight, this isn’t the best environment for that.
