A balanced work life - Content Writer Smartprix Employee Review

Currently a full time backend developer for about 9 months. The thing I love most is the open culture, where I can approach anyone about anything and everyone is learning while experimenting with new things and technologies. PHP and MySQL are the major technologies used here and a lot of freedom is there in terms of how to do things at the same time there would always be someone to guide you if needed.

The only con is that the management is a little inexperienced which can be a little challenging sometimes.

It may be difficult to believe when everybody tells you that their companies have open culture, but you'll find it's true at smartprix; it's more open than any other place I've worked at. You can ask any questions directly to founders. You know how your work impacts user interaction with shopping. There is no bs in work place, just work and paaaarties.

Since smartprix is fast-paced company, lot of custom infrastructure and tools which works great, it makes your job really great, but on the other hand, you may find yourself uncomfortable in adjusting to fast-paced work environment as you're asked to work on core things since starting.
