The mission, members, busy schedule ( great for people who get bored easily) and it is a steady paycheck.
Cons
Personally, I was raised to treat everyone the same, regardless of title, status or gender. This does not apply at Smile Source. A title means everything to them regardless of respect or decency. Culture is horrible - nothing is confidential and Senior Leadership will discuss all employees and members with just about anyone. Other senior leadership managers turn their heads to ignore the problems and tell you to get over it. Sexism is rampant starting with Senior Leadership. Men are also hired at a higher rate of pay than women with the same qualifications. Senior leadership preaches accountability but only applies it to a few. If your numbers are “good” accountability is a hypothetical. If you work for Smile Source and are a friend or relative of senior leadership you will have a lifetime job with no accountability. Senior leadership will not put anything in writing. You have to constantly push them for any answers about a variety of topics and compensation.
