Pros
Dogs, mediocre snacks, free lunch on thursdays, great teammates. Was good when I started over a year ago, but then...
Cons
It's actually impressive how much this company has declined since I started. It seems like management went in too many directions trying to do too many things, and now it's all fallen apart. In addition to the mismanagement, leadership does not care about you as an individual, as much as they say that they do. I was basically guilted and blamed for 2 weeks after giving my notice for not staying and doing more, even though I gave very clear reasoning as to why I was leaving (reasoning that was unrelated to the general decline of the company and more about my personal growth). But they don't want to hear it and they just talk you down to make you feel like a terrible person for abandoning ship. Now for the culture. My god. If you are an introvert, you will likely want to avoid this company. I'll give credit to having a lot of events, but feeling pressured to go to them and get 'fired up' about everything is just the worst. Crush it call is so culty, anytime I explain it to non-SN people they just give me confused and concerned looks. At this point, it's management's way of exuding positivity while ignoring the real problems that are going on. Also, this is NOT a tech company! If you're considering joining SN because they say they're a tech company, think again. It's a company that has succeeded by selling snacks and should probably stick to doing that and that only because that's what has actually worked in the past. But I heard they just laid off almost the entire sales team, so not exactly sure what's going to happen... If the recent negative reviews aren't enough to get you to turn away, I'm not sure how else to help you. Also, note the the influx of good reviews in september and how random they are, I'm sure one of the team leaders asked newer unknowing employees to write good reviews... if they were sales reps, they've been laid off by now.
