Pros

This is one of the most Employee Friendly organizations I have ever worked with / know. The Salary structure, yearly bonus, and benefits make the overall package quite attractive (on par or better than similar IT product companies). Employees have good work-life balance with very minimal weekend or late night slogging that we see in many IT companies. There are number of team events management keeps organizing and tries to ensure that there is no lapse in employee engagement and teams are motivated to the daily routines of Software Development. Being a small R&D set up Bangalore, there is good cooperation among team members. They also keep sending employees to Norway for 2-3 weeks visit to have better bonding and collaboration with the colleagues there. Consultants at times get longer visits. They are also entering cloud based solutions with more aggression now.

Cons

Company works in ECM domain using Microsoft technologies only. Their product portfolio is limited. So some people may feel exposure is limited. But there are number of employees happily working here for more than 5 years, as there are enough technical challenges to deal with.

Pros

It is a Norway based company . So work pressure is almost Nil. Most of the time they will be on vacation so our work load in Bangalore will be very less. We have annual bonus ( outside CTC) and 3 year and 5 year bonus. At the end of 3 year 20% of CTC and at the end of 5th year 40% of the CTC will be given. It is a product company and Microsoft technology oriented. Apart from this there are other benefits like mobile, broad band, lunch snacks etc. outside the CTC. Managers are very employee friendly and down to earth. I never seen such kind of managers in my career. Norwegian people are very kind and they understand our problems easily . Good opportunities are given for Non performing resources.

Cons

Onsite opportunities are almost Nil. Norwegian people visit very often to Bangalore. But we won't get any opportunity to go there. If you keep asking they will send you for 3 weeks. It is a small size company of 70 people. They are very stringent when it comes to stationary like envelope, head phone, Identity card holder etc. You need to argue a lot to get 1 piece. Cab facility is limited. There is no scope for new product development. They don't do any job rotation inside the company. While joining itself needs to get into good team where technical challenges are there. There is no specialized HR to listen and address employee concerns.Since Mangers are very flexible we don't see as a problem now.

Pros

Product company and Microsoft Technology Oriented. Good salary as per industry standards. A small company with strength of 70 in Bangalore but no job risk as all the product development happens in Bangalore. So opportunities to work in various teams and various technologies in given. Technically smart people both in Bangalore and Norway. Daily interaction with Norwegian developers, Consultants and some times customers. Cross team interaction and everyone is very helpful. Full internet access and ample time to learn new technologies online. Very open as any body can go and discuss problems even with Director. HR is good, listens to your queries and resolves them at the earliest. Other benefits like Mobile, Broadband bills, tea time snacks, team outings, celebrations, dinner for best team of the month, etc. Insurance coverage, Health Insurance, Yearly Bonus, 3 years and 5 years bonus are outside of CTC. Cab facility for certain routes Good work life balance. Occasional visit to Norway for 2- 3 months.

Cons

Since its a product company, people can not expect onsite, still they send people to Norway for 2-3 weeks. Getting good work and taking initiative is all sole dependent and company and its people cannot be blamed for it. Be more enthusiastic and ask for more work if you feel you don't have sufficient work. At the same time you get enough time and resources to learn some new technologies.
