Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Searchers please beware. I never really review companies online but after working at Solar Topps, I felt I had to for the sake of others searching for a job in the Phoenix area. I worked at Solar Topps in July, 2018. The owner might be bi-polar since he would say good job and seemed okay with how things were going, and then next thing you know he was flipping out. He would fire people left and right for no reason at all. Here is my favorite quote from the owner, which was said in front of the whole company: "Its not like I NEED to work here, I was born with money. I had a Rolls Royce by the time I was 2 years old." REAL CLASS ACT. This was during a meeting where he was giving the company his set of rules that must be followed after watching his video cameras of the workers. No cell phones or personal belongings allowed at your desk while you are working, they must be locked up in a locker. You must clock in and out on time (clock in and out? sooooo old school!) My advice to job searchers out there is to please beware and take the Glassdoor and Indeed reviews to heart because they are 100% true and accurate .

Pros

The leadership team is incredibly supportive and values employee input, making it easy to share ideas and feedback. I appreciate the emphasis on continuous learning and professional development, with opportunities for training and skill enhancement. The projects we undertake are both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to apply my skills in meaningful ways. Plus, the company culture is inclusive and dynamic, which makes coming to work every day enjoyable. I’m proud to be part of such a talented team, and I look forward to contributing to our exciting future!

Cons

During slower periods, management tends to apply more pressure on employees, which can create a stressful environment and impact morale

Pros

Small, family owned business. Good co-workers

Cons

The management is not supportive and gives conflicting feedback. They will pile on work without providing any support and then when you can’t manage the workload, you are blamed. I started out with one simple job and by the end of my time had taken on the roles of 4-5 people. Extremely stressful.
