Pros

- Good people - Understanding and flexible management that values your mental health - High ethical standards - Small business environment - Ability to work on a variety of projects for multiple clients - Input is valued - Pay for performance bonuses - Nice balance of in-office and work from home

Cons

- All time must be logged and tracked closely for billing purposes, which can lead to stress for certain personality types and those who like to to invest more time in R&D - You may have to wear a lot of hats or feel stretched thin at times due to the nature of a small agency working for many clients - Pay and benefits may not be able to match bigger companies

Pros

If you want to take your time management skills to next level, Solution Innovators LLC is the place to be. The owner tries to make every minute of employees' workday count against billable time. Every activity has to be punched into tracking software by each employee with detailed descriptions. If anything is not satisfactory about the descriptions, there might be additional questioning in front of other employees. It can be very stressful to be working in such a work environment especially when the job is web programming! If you can handle the pressure and stress, it does take time management skills to a whole new level.

Cons

Get ready for super creative ways of money getting deducted from your paycheck. I had a long commute to Solution Innovators LLC's office. From day one, the owner made clear that none of my commute expenses would be reimbursed. I accepted the offer anyways because I needed the job. Many months later, one day the owner came to me and asked me to start working remotely with the condition that 10% of my pay would be cut off from my paycheck. His reasoning for this deduction was that by working remotely I would be saving some money from not commuting to work!
