Pros

This is one of very few startups trying to solve an actual business challenge and consumer challenge. If you look around the startup scene here in London, that is actually pretty rare. So what you build, and what you do here is what you make of it. You have to be a self starter.

Cons

- Communication across multiple locations (New York to London) is always difficult - There are still some old practices that don't belong in a startup

Pros

Challenging work and great team

Cons

The industry is broken and as such scaling a business in this environment has lots of ups and downs. It’s not for everyone.

Pros

- The staff is made up of genuinely good people who care deeply about what we're trying to do - People here want to make a difference in music and technology and that mission is clear from the top - Strong backgrounds in the music industry as well as in tech throughout the global staff which makes for a well-rounded company with a ton of experience - Everyone has each other's back and works as a team; Lots of effort and tools put towards helping all teams collaborate as best as possible - HR is very approachable and always has an open invitation to take meetings if you need anything - Beyond using the unlimited PTO benefits, taking time off is encouraged if you've had to work late on a big project - Opportunities to travel, especially to other offices for collaboration - Great office spaces that allow for having fun while working throughout the day - For NY Office: plenty of space to get some quiet time if you need, great healthy snacks, great office manager, lots of effort is put towards making the office feel warm and staff happy, love the addition of Wednesday yoga

Cons

- Some growing pains as we matured from a 25-person company to 120+ but nothing that isn't typical for a very fast-moving startup
