Sometimes noticeable disconnect with management, asked to do things far outside of normal job scope - not fairly compensated

Management generally allowed for a very flexible schedule. Overall workload was not heavy but very diverse. Learned much about running a small business.

At the time of my employment there was a very urgent need for structure and consistency in company policies. It was ran as a small business without formal competency targets for all levels of staff. This made employment evaluation and neatly impossible and employees generally dissatisfied with their jobs.
