Changes at Executive Level, still working out the bugs.

The Clinical Team (excluding management) is very supportive. There are plenty of chances to network with community partners (take advantage of it). There are opportunities for training throughout the state and you will learn a lot about yourself. Seeing the residents change their ways and return to their families is probably the most rewarding experience though.

Even though the pay is decent for therapist; there is a ton of paperwork. The position is designed for two people (a therapist and a case manager) so be prepared to stay late. The agency has lots of corrective action plans in place which makes your job harder than it should be. Management/Supervisors can be very rude as well which makes the workers feel unappreciated and disrespected. The turnover rate is through the roof for therapist and youth workers. Youth workers are constantly mandated which contributes to their burnout as well. Lastly, there is little to no room for advancement. Many workers have a second job because they aren't being paid enough.
