Pros
Very much left alone to succeed. Clearly defined performance criteria. Lots of effort spent on creating an underlying culture which grows the business based on good habits. Management team are involved in the cultural change process and take on the learning along with the staff.
Cons
The freedom suits a more experienced employee, however lots of departments are creating mentoring programs to attract less experience staff to grow the next generation.
